Top 10 Cobra Kai Characters (Spoiler Warning)

Image
Cobra Kai is currently one of the best shows running at the moment, not just on Netflix, but overall period. Beyond just the amazing fight chorography, and exciting karate action, the show has done an excellent job in establishing a memorable set of characters thanks to both sharp writing and a terrific ensemble cast. And because of this, I thought it would be fun to list off who I feel have been the 10 best characters through the course of the show's first three seasons.  Warning: There will be some big spoilers below for the first three seasons of Cobra Kai, so if you have yet to catch up on the show, please do so and afterwards, feel free to come back to read my list ;)!   Honorable Mentions (because this show just has that many great characters): Aisha Robinson, Carmen Diaz, Kyler (hating this guy is just too much fun).  10. Raymond "Stingray"    Played by the wonderful Paul Walter Hauser, Stingray was undoubtedly one of the biggest standouts for the entirety of seaso

TV Flashback #1: Friday Night Lights Series Review

Image
Looking for one of the best TV Shows you probably haven't seen before? Well I've got you one.  Developed by Peter Berg, Friday Night Lights first debuted in 2006 on NBC Network. Inspired by the 1990 nonfiction novel written by H.G. Bissinger (which was also previously made into a 2004 film starring Billy Bob Thornton), the TV Show launched to strong critical acclaim and developed a nice cult following over the five seasons it was on air for (2006-2011). Me personally, I only finally caught on board with this excellent series a few years ago when it was still on Netflix where I binged through the first season. And I was absolutely taken back, and enamored with that rousing first season of a really inspiring underdog story. But, I admittedly typically struggle to invest a lot of time in television series, so I never managed to actually go back and finish the four other seasons before it was unfortunately taken down from Netflix. Recently though, I finally managed to go back and

Raya and the Last Dragon Review: Another Winner For Disney Animation

Image
Raya and the Last Dragon is the latest from Walt Dsiney's Animation Studio. I had some high hopes for this one, not just due to very solid trailers, but also for the fact that I think as a film studio, Disney is arguably most consistent when it comes to their animated films. Especially during the 2010s decade, they released some absolutely wonderful gems with the likes of Moana, Tangled, Frozen, Zootopie, Big Hero 6 amongst plenty of others, and Raya looked no different. After numerous of release delays due to the Covid pandemic obviosuly, Disney decided to do a dual release strategy of  both theaters where open, and a Premium Access Price of $30 for their Disney+ subscribers which started just this past weekend. Whether you decided to brave a trip to the theaters such as I did, or just pay the full premium price on Disney+ to watch at the comfort of your home, I'm very glad to report this film is well the money either way and is another wonderful entry for Disney Animation.

Wandavision (Non-Spoiler) Series Review: An Exciting and Thrilling Beginning For MCU'S Phase 4

Image
Ever since the initial announcement of WandaVision, and the numerous of trailers that have hit the web, this brand new miniseries from Marvel Studios has very much been high on my radar. Not only does it mark the beginning of the Marvel Cinematic Universe's Phase 4, but also their first venture into the TV world as a newly release Disney+ original property. It's safe to say there was a lot of anticipation riding on this one given that this also marks the studio's first release in nearly two years, given how the Covid 19 pandemic has largely affected the release dates of many projects in the industry.  And it brings me great joy to report that while not perfect, through all of its nine episodes, WandaVision always remained a wildly entertaining, an often thrilling, and inventive piece of entertainment that is also a great beginning for the MCU's Disney+ TV shows.  One of the biggest selling points for WandaVision for me was how the series was clearly being built as ver
